In March of 2012, Judson University hosted a lecture series entitled On Christ and Architecture. During that event, a number of individuals had the opportunity to meet and discuss architecture in terms of their faith. This event sparked discussion of the potential for a network of Christians in the architectural community.

On April 27th, ten students from Judson University and Illinois Institute of Technology met in a small restaurant in Oak Park and created Architects for Christ. Today, the AC is a growing community of individuals who desire to serve God through the education and profession of architecture.

In February 2013, we will publicly launch with five beta chapters and open membership. We anticipate seeing the work God will accomplish through our his people!
